Educators' Resources for ACE and SEPICA at UNH
ACE:
SEPICA:
- How SEPICA Works: explaining a complex instrument to your students
- Lesson Plans:
-
SEPICA Instrument Paper: a model for higher-level students` understanding of the scientific method
Outside Links:
-
Windows to the Universe:
An excellent resource, highlighting ACE science from the perspective of the SWICS and SWIMS instruments.
- Space Craft International:
- Go to their free model page to download cut-and-paste paper models of NASA satellites. Some are more difficult and time-consuming than others; I recommend the NEAR model for beginners (only four pieces) and the Cassini model for experts.
- Goddard Space Flight Center has some great links to other ACE outreach sites.
- More to come!
